The problem isn’t your voice—it’s what happens after you hit record

You keep

second-guessing

yourself.

What felt powerful while singing sounds lifeless in playback.

You know the vibe’s missing—but you’re not sure where it went.

And all those unfinished tracks? They're starting to pile up.

These aren’t talent issues. They’re workflow traps.
Most singer-songwriters get stuck here—but you don’t have to.

Meet the V.O.I.C.E. Framework

No engineering degree required.

No fancy gear needed.

Just a clear, artist-first process for emotional vocal editing.

The 5 Steps to Editing With Feeling—Not Frustration

V – Vibe First: Define your emotional North Star before you edit, so your vocals stay human, honest, and real.

O – Optimize the Performance: Learn to record like it's a live performance—raw, connected, and fearless.

I – Intentional Editing: Subtle comping, tuning, and timing without killing the vibe.

C – Clarity Through Sweetening: Gentle EQ, tone, and texture shaping to enhance—not erase—your voice.

E – Emotional Quality Control: A final gut-check to make sure your edit still moves you before it hits the mix.

Make a  confident decision.

  • What is a mix-ready vocal?
A mix-ready vocal is a raw vocal take that already sounds emotionally compelling, confident, and clean—before any mixing. This course helps you shape your vocal so it connects and translates—without stepping on the mix engineer’s toes (even if that’s you).

Think of it as the difference between a great demo… and a vocal that’s ready to sit in a pro mix.
  • Do I need a specific DAW to take this course?
Nope. You can use any DAW you’re comfortable with. I demonstrate the V.O.I.C.E. Framework in LUNA (which is free), and I also include key workflow tips for Logic Pro and Pro Tools. The concepts apply no matter what software you use.
  • What plugins or tools will I need?
You’ll need Melodyne Assistant (or higher) for pitch/timing and iZotope RX Standard for cleanup. These are industry-standard tools, and I recommend that students already own—or can reasonably invest in—these to get the most out of the process.
  • How much time will this take?
The course is designed to get you results in 14 days or less—but it's fully self-paced. Most lessons are under 15 minutes and come with clear action steps. And once you get proficient with the V.O.I.C.E. process, you’ll be able to edit vocals in just a few hours, start to finish.
  • What kind of vocals is this course for?
This course is for anyone looking to bring out the best in melodic vocal performances—whether that’s your own or someone else’s. It's ideal for singer-songwriters, topliners, and music producers or engineers who want to elevate their vocal production. If you're working with harsh vocal styles (like screaming or aggressive vocal distortion), this course may not be the best fit.
  • Is this course beginner-friendly?
This course is best suited for intermediate artists who are comfortable recording vocals at home and navigating a DAW. It’s not about learning to record—it's about what happens after you hit record. If you’ve ever felt that gut-punch when your voice comes through the speakers and it doesn’t sound how it felt in the moment—this course is for you.
  • How long will I have access to the course?
You’ll have ongoing access to the full course materials for as long as the program is available. That means you can revisit lessons, tools, and templates anytime you’re working on a new vocal project.
  • Is this a live or pre-recorded course?
This course is 100% pre-recorded so you can move at your own pace. Whether you want to edit one song or an entire album, the process is repeatable and ready when you are.
  • Why is the course free? What's the catch?
There is no catch. I've made this course free because I don't want to gate information that I know will change the way you hear your voice and elevate your recordings. This world needs you to show up, especially in a world where AI is becoming more mainstream.
